As you may have guessed, the originally entitled Waun Mawn Stones is the second part of what we believe to be the Waun Mawn complex. This is quite an impressive single standing stone, as previously mentioned it is situated a few hundred yards up the hillside from the two smaller stones. For such a tall stone, against the backdrop of its mountainside environment, it is almost chameleon-like at first glance. From this site, it is trek NorthEast, to the top of the hill, a good few hundred yards to find the third site of the complex. |
