This stone is easy to find,
but unfortunately we have no measurements due to reasons beyond our control.
From the single Maenclochog
stone follow the road a very short distance and take a left turn before you
get to the village. Follow this very narrow road
for a short while, you will pass a dwelling on your right and you will then
soon come to the entrance to a farm on your left. We parked here, not
causing an obstruction of course. The stone is in the field on your right,
and can clearly be seen from the fence. We estimate the stone to be
approximately 5 to 6 feet tall. The only shots we could get of the monument
were from the fence using a zoom lens. The reason for this being that the
stone shares the field with quite a substantial amount of bulls, real big
unfriendly looking chaps, so until some time when we turn up and they are
not there, this is the only picture we got. |
