Although an impressive standing stone there’s not a lot we can say about this particular monolith. It is situated on the roadside of the A487, between Dinas Cross and Fishguard. Unfortunately it is situated behind a hedge, and although the owners of the field have graciously cut a section of hedge so the stone can be seen by passers by, there is a fence stopping the monument being approached. The purpose of this monument as with so many others of this type is unknown to us, but its that air of mystery which makes these ancient monuments so magical and precious.
