These two stones can be found to the North East of the Gors Fawr stone circle, and are clearly visible from the circle itself, which suggests they were of some significance to the ritual practices of the site. They both stand at approximately 6 feet tall and are positioned approximately 16 yards apart, although these are unconfirmed measurements. Even though their purpose is unknown to us, as is so many such monuments, the standing stones at Gors Fawr share a common characteristic with a number of sites in the immediate area, and that is the positioning of two stones in close proximity of each other |
