To locate this site, carrying on the same road from Mynachlog-Ddu to Rosebush, assuming you have just visited Cerrig Meibion Arthur.

You will cross a cattle grid and soon pass what we assume to be a farmhouse set back on your left, soon after this the road will take a sharp left, as it straightens out it will also start to rise. Carry on for a very short while, if memory serves correctly the road widens and there is a gate to a field on your right.

If you stop and take a peep over the gate, the stone can clearly be seen on the left hand side of the field, near enough against the fence. If however you cannot see the stone, its simply a case of stopping at the next gate and doing the same.

We found it using the LR map quite easily. The stone itself, as with many of the sites, is quite exceptional.  What strikes you is, as you approached the stone you cannot help but notice its rather obscure shape, whilst being a very domineering feature.

There is another stone in the field on the opposite side of the road, close to the house by the cattle grid, but we have yet to visit that one. It has also been suggested that the two once formed part of a stone row. The legitimacy of this claim we do not know, but that for us is the magic of this research, the sheer mystery of it all. This monument is well worth a visit, an exceptional feature of our ancient landscape.
